 The 29th edition of Iran's Fajr International Theater Festival has announced winners during a ceremony held in the capital city of Tehran.
Winners of the national and international competition sections were awarded at the Vahdat Hall on Sunday, February 20, 2011.
The Grand Prize of the event went to Pandora 88, a duologue by German stage director Andrew Dawson.

Veteran Iranian stage artists Mohammad-Ali Keshavarz, Farideh Sepah-Mansour, Mahmoud Azizi and Yadollah Aqa-Abbasi were also honored with life time achievement awards during the festival's closing ceremony.
The 2011 Fajr International Theater Festival was held from February 12 to 20 in Tehran, presenting some 153 performances from Iran and other countries.
Some 14 international groups from Italy, the Czech Republic, Russia, Switzerland, China, Germany, Canada, South Korea, Greece, Poland and Estonia participated in the week-long event.
Some 24 street plays were performed this year as well as nine performances in the New Experiences section and 12 works in the Festivals' Festival section which presented selected works from previous editions of the festival.
Iran holds the international Fajr film, theater, music and visual arts festivals every year to mark the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
